City of Buffalo City Common Council
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the City of Buffalo City on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 6:45pm at the Buffalo City Municipal Building, 245 E. 10th St., to consider proposed amendments to the City of Buffalo City Zoning Ordinance. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed amendments to Ordinance #245 Regulating Placement of Containers for Storage or Residential Use. To add the wording “In a Residential Zone”.
The public may review copies of the proposed amendments to the ordinance during regular City Office Hours. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9am – 4pm. Copies are also available at www.buffalocitywi.gov or by contacting the Clerk at 608-248-2262 or cityclerk@bufffalocitywisconsin.com.
During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the proposed amendments. Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk until 5:00 p.m. on May 12th and shall become part of the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had an opportunity to offer comment.
Upon the close of the Public Hearing, the City of Buffalo City Common Council shall consider the ordinance amendment at their regularly scheduled May 12th board meeting.

JOB OPENING:
FULL TIME CITY PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT
Buffalo City is taking applications for a full-time City Superintendent position. Qualified candidates must possess a valid CDL. Candidates should also be mechanically inclined, able to lift and otherwise move up to 75 pounds, be self-motivated, able to work independently and lead a department including part-time employees. Duties include maintenance of streets, city-owned property, city buildings, and the cemetery. Applicants will be on-call and required to work in the event of emergency situations that include plowing, storm clean up and other City maintenance events.
